Does Your Team Cheer Each Other On?

Core Team Foundations for Success

Team cheering each other on

Does your team cheer eachother on?

I'm a huge fan of Anthony Edwards, and not just because I'm from Minnesota (Although that helps)

A rising NBA superstar at only 22, his joy and vigor for the game are electric and he clearly loves the game.  Watching that joy come to life is infectious.

However the thing that stands out most for me isn't the ridiculous talent, but it's how he cheers his team on.

He is the first guy to jump off the bench and cheer when his teammates make a great play.

It's clear that he's there for the big W, the team win, and not just himself.

We > Me

If you've been following the Olympic  chatter, you may have heard about a challenge between Ant and the USA women's ping pong team.

In a joke/prank set up by Steph Curry, Ant has stated that he would get at least one point in a game against an Olympian, and the only way to find out is to play!

I don't know if I'd bet on him winning a point, but I would bet on him supporting fellow USA teammates.

When Lily Zhang of the US Ping Pong team was playing for gold, Ant was right there in stands cheering her on.  And you can tell he is truly excited for her.

This is the person we all want to be on a team with.

A person that wants to win and one that will cheer us on with full throated support.

Think of the teams you've been on, the ones you thrived the most on - Was there someone there who was excited about your success?

Not just your leader, but others on the team as well?

This is what we should be striving for on our teams.

And if you don't have an "Ant" on your team, maybe it should be you?
